Heidi's Home stands as a testament to the transformative power of thoughtful design and a willingness to embrace change. Situated in the vibrant community of New Orleans, this project revitalized a classic 1960s ranch-style home, breathing new life into its exterior with a strategic infusion of color and texture. The homeowners, eager to enhance their property’s curb appeal, collaborated closely throughout the process, demonstrating an admirable commitment to the vision laid out for their home’s facelift. The scope of the project began with the addition of shutters, which were chosen for their aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. The selected color, Sherwin-Williams 7034 Status Bronze, was not merely a choice but a statement, providing a rich contrast against the original creamy-colored brick façade. This color selection added depth and character, enhancing the home’s overall presence in the neighborhood. Complementing the shutters, custom gate ironwork was installed to further accentuate the unique architectural elements of the residence, contributing to an inviting and cohesive look. In addition to the shutters, a fresh coat of paint was applied to the front door, utilizing Sherwin-Williams 6335 Fired Brick to introduce a vibrant pop of col. This bold choice serves as a focal point, drawing the eye and inviting guests into the home while harmonizing beautifully with the earthy tones of the shutters. The careful selection of three colors, rather than the conventional two, allowed for a more dynamic and engaging visual experience, reflecting the homeowners' adventurous spirit and modern sensibility.
