Winter Containers by Greenlife Gardens Greenlife Gardens was thrilled to put together the 'Winter Containers' for an existing client in Papillion, who wanted to add some winter cheer to their front landscape. Our team selected a variety of tough and seasonal plants that could handle the cold weather, and provide color and texture for the winter months. In all of our s, high-quality materials are essential. We built custom containers from durable wood that maintained the home’s architectural style, but also provided good drainage and insulation for the plant roots. One challenge was the limited availability of plants that were visually appealing but could also withstand the cold winter weather. Our team of horticultural experts chose a selection of evergreen shrubs, ornamental grasses, and winter-blooming perennials, arranged the plants to create eye-catching displays, and selected optimal placement to enhance the curb appeal of the home while also being functional for future maintenance. To maximize available sunlight, we had to accommodate the limited sun exposure by selecting plants that thrive in partial shade. We planned fascinating and colorful containers that would add warmth to the landscape, even on the coldest of days. In the end, we created a series of creative winter containers that pleased our client, with lots of spirits and whimsy, for the landscape in the coldest of months. We were happy to take the time to carefully select materials and plants that allowed Greenlife Gardens to elevate the ordinary to extraordinary while changing the winterhp1 scenery in the heart of Papillion.
