The Updated Living Room Redesign project in La Crosse, WI, transformed a long-neglected space into a vibrant and inviting area that reflects the personality and tastes of our client. Having lived in her home for many years, the client sought a fresh look for her living room, encouraged by her daughters to explore new possibilities while retaining beloved pieces. The challenge was to rejuvenate the space without compromising the sentimental value of her existing furniture. At the heart of this redesign was the client's cherished sofa. Though she contemplated reupholstering it to achieve a more contemporary appearance, we understood the potential costs involved, especially given the intricately tufted curved back. Instead, we focused on enhancing its charm through strategic accessorizing. We selected an array of stunning pillows from Pier 1, which not only added a pop of color but also modernized the sofa’s aesthetic. These careful choices demonstrated that a fresh look can be achieved without the need for extensive renovations. The overall design embraced a traditional style, harmonizing with the home's architecture while introducing modern elements that breathe new life into the space. We incorporated a new color palette that complemented the existing furniture, using soft, neutral tones to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Elegant drapery was added to frame the windows, allowing natural light to filter in while enhancing the room's elegance. Our craftsmanship extended to the selection of decorative accessories and artwork, which were chosen to reflect the client’s personal taste and style. The outcome is a beautifully redesigned living room that offers both comfort and sophistication.
