Sagaponack Beach House Just showcased on their website, one of the more exciting s in our portfolio, 'Sagaponack Beach House', is a wonderful juxtaposition of form and function typifying "beachy chic" decadence. Located in the beautiful Sagaponack, this landscaping highlights a balance between nature and design that was part of a clients aspirations of an outdoor sanctuary space. A detailed site analysis initiated the and included design strategies that leveraged the coastal context with a blend of passive and active solar systems. Early hurdles included sandy soils and salt exposure, but we chose robust, native plant species that do well in the seaside environment. The space is now planted with a diversity of lush, drought-resistant plants such as ornamental grasses, perennials that flower in various seasons, and evergreen or deciduous shrubs to provide interest at all times of the year. One of the main features of this is a bespoke stone patio made with local bluestone. This large outdoor living area complements the lines of the home, providing a desirable gathering space for relaxation and entertaining. A contemporary fire pit, framed with natural boulders, provides a warm place to gather after dark as well. We implemented an advanced irrigation unit on the property to preserve the lush nature without losing its efficiency with water consumption. Well-positioned landscape lighting tastefully lights pathways and showcases the beautiful flora, making it a fairy land after sunset time. All the careful planning, premium materials and expert craftsmanship came together to create a beautiful outside space that surpassed our clients vision.
