About This Project

The Mudge Ranch Classic Bath project epitomizes the blend of functionality and timeless elegance. This renovation was the second of three projects undertaken for a valued client, who envisioned a warm and inviting space with a classic aesthetic. The original design featured a sunken tub positioned in front of a window, which posed accessibility challenges. Our solution involved filling in the sunken area to create a custom wood window seat, allowing the homeowners to fully appreciate the breathtaking mountain views just beyond their window. To enhance the layout, we reconfigured the long vanity run by incorporating a bump out at the center, breaking up the expanse and adding a touch of architectural interest. This strategic alteration not only improved the visual flow but also increased storage capacity. A wall cabinet above the toilet, paired with a stylish cabinet atop the vanity, provided both practicality and elegance, ensuring that essential items remained conveniently stored yet easily accessible. The design choices were meticulously curated to evoke a sense of sophistication. Warm marble was selected for both the vanity top and the jetted tub/shower surround, imparting a luxurious feel to the space. The craftsmanship involved cutting pieces of this exquisite marble to inlay into the floor tile, creating a cohesive and polished look throughout the bathroom. The result is a harmonious blend of materials that not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also elevates the overall bathing experience. The completed Mudge Ranch Classic Bath stands as a testament to thoughtful design and superior craftsmanship, offering a tranquil retreat that marries comfort with classic beauty. As a final touch, the tub/shower area, captured by Steven Paul Whitsitt Photography, showcases the seamless integration of Dura Supreme Cabinetry, inviting potential clients to envision their dream bathroom transformation. This project successfully delivers on the client’s desire for a sophisticated yet inviting sanctuary.
