The 2013 Belgard Winner project in Weston, WI, showcases an exceptional blend of craftsmanship and thoughtful landscape design, tailored for a stunning parade home. This new construction landscape was meticulously planned to harmonize with the home’s architecture, utilizing Belgard pavers in carefully selected colors that echo the cultured stone walls, providing a cohesive aesthetic throughout the property. The design approach unified the driveway, side entrance, and front door with consistent paver usage while strategically highlighting the front door entry, inviting guests into the home with a welcoming and visually appealing approach. Incorporating the natural surroundings, the landscape design seamlessly transitions into the wooded area at the back of the property. To enhance this connection with nature, woodland plants were thoughtfully incorporated along the garage walk, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The flagstone walkway was ingeniously designed over a drainage area, effectively managing water runoff from the roofline and hillside through a series of drain tiles that channel water discreetly into the woods, ensuring both functionality and beauty. The backyard serves as a focal point for outdoor gatherings, featuring a beautifully constructed fireplace by the contract. This fireplace not only provides warmth and ambiance but also serves as a stunning visual element that can be appreciated from the interior of the home, visible from all back rooms. Adjacent to the fireplace, a well-designed grilling area and comfortable sitting space were created, offering an ideal setting for entertaining family and friends while enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding landscape. The collaboration between Ostrowski Landscaping and skilled craftsmen resulted in a remarkable outdoor living space that balances elegance with practicality. The award-winning design exemplifies innovative landscape architecture, promising to inspire clients seeking to enhance their own homes with a blend of beauty and functionality in their outdoor environments.
