Backyard Revamp by RDM Landscapes RDM Landscapes is excited to present our "Backyard Revamp" , which is a complete landscaping done for a unique client in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a testament to quality and craftsmanship when improving outdoor spaces in our service areas including Malcolm, Raymond, and more. We kicked off the by getting to know our client in a pre-planning consultation, so we could meet their vision for a backyard oasis. We ran into challenges throughout the process including sloping yard and limited light in certain areas. To navigate these issues, we decided on a tiered garden layout. We curated and installed a fabulous collection of native plants, drought tolerant perennials, and annuals for bursts of color. Quality of materials is always important to us, and we selected high quality, natural stone for the paths and patio area to provide a rustic feel that will both last and look great. The raised garden beds were custom built from reclaimed wood, for both aesthetic and sustainability. One focal piece of this "Backyard Revamp" was the addition of a simple water feature with a small pond and waterfall. This is both an eye catching centerpiece and attracts local wildlife. We also included ambient lighting to extend the beauty of the landscape to evening time when the client's friends and family come together. The end result was a beautiful change and an excited client who now has a backyard they will enjoy living in rather than simply looking at the potential of it.
