About This Project

The Lokey Project, located in the picturesque Arroyo Grande, California, is a stunning transformation that exemplifies thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship. Awarded the prestigious 2014 Outstanding Achievement CLCA Beautification Award, this project was initiated in 2012 on what was initially a blank canvas. The vision for this space was to create an inviting outdoor living area that seamlessly integrates luxury and functionality, tailored specifically to the lifestyle of the homeowner. The project commenced with the construction of an elegant deck and outdoor living area, designed to serve as an extension of the home. This space was thoughtfully crafted to encourage relaxation and entertainment, featuring premium materials that ensure durability while enhancing aesthetic appeal. Surrounding the centerpiece of a magnificent specimen Oak tree, we constructed terraced walls that provide both structure and visual interest, creating a harmonious balance between natural beauty and architectural design. Understanding the homeowner's passion for golf, we incorporated a remarkable 70-foot putting green with seven holes, bringing the joy of the golf course directly to their backyard. This feature not only adds a unique recreational aspect but also serves as a focal point for gatherings, encouraging family and friends to enjoy the outdoors together. Enhancing the outdoor experience further, we installed a Santa Maria BBQ area complete with a luxurious granite countertop, perfectly situated at the end of an Arbel patio. This outdoor kitchen provides an ideal setting for alfresco dining and entertaining, allowing the homeowner to embrace the California lifestyle fully. The careful selection of materials, from the synthetic turf of the putting green to the elegant stonework of the patio, reflects a commitment to quality and sustainability. The outcome of the Lokey Project is a beautifully cohesive outdoor space that balances leisure and entertainment, making it a perfect retreat for the homeowner and their guests, while standing as a testament to exceptional design and craftsmanship.
