BEFORE / AFTER Miracle Farms Landscape Contractors Miracle Farms Landscape Contractors Turning Outdoor Spaces Into Beautiful Landscapes Throughout New Hampshire's Lakes Region We just completed a substantial for a home in Meredith, NH, the of which are evident in our most recent aptly titled "Before/After." The yard that surrounded the home was filled with overgrown shrubs, an unshoveled pathway, and uneven land that separated the home from the view outside. We began addressing these challenges as a team, conducting an in-depth site analysis to study the existing topography of the land as well as the soil conditions. We then manually eradicated invasive plant species and sculpted the land into a gentle slope. Landscape is designed and planted with native species that achieved sustainability and also improved local ecology. We chose a mixture of perennial blooms and ornamental grasses as well as shrubbery for four seasons of color and hardiness. A natural stone pathway made of granite from local sources links the driveway to the entrance which allows access and adds a rustic flavor to the space. A highlight of the remodel is a custom fire pit area which serves as the family hang out and evening unwind points. Natural boulders and strategically placed seating give the space a comfortable feel. We dealt with things like super steep hills and some parts of the area having no sun available. So, we employed terracing methodologies and a few strategic plantings of shade-tolerant varieties of an aesthetic nature to create layers of the landscape, simultaneously solving both problems, and adding depth and interest to the landscape! Our clients were blown away with the final outcome. Gone are the days of a yard with weeds because their hearts through their yard flow instead, creating an oasis that beckons, and blends with the natural flow of the surrounding landscape.
