Tasked with completing a project that had stalled midway, I embraced the challenge of designing and managing a comprehensive interior and exterior renovation that would align with the vibrant Palm Springs vacation rental market. The essence of the home was rooted in its Atomic Age architecture, which inspired a fresh approach to the design while respecting the original character of the space. The project scope included the creation of multiple indoor and outdoor social areas, designed to foster a sense of community and comfort for guests. To achieve this, I carefully selected materials and furnishings from the existing inventory, integrating them seamlessly into the new design. A cohesive color palette was developed, featuring a modern exterior paint scheme that enhances the home’s architectural lines while paying homage to its mid-century roots.
