Favorite Perennials by Acer Landscape Services Acer Landscape Services is excited to announce the ‘Favorite Perennials’ - a beautiful renovation for a lovable customer in Nashville - specifically for our customers in Belle Meade, Brentwood, Forest Hills, and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville. This focused on providing an eye-catching, year-round garden that - through a well-designed selection of perennials - provide the seasons with making the garden continuously bloom from early spring until fall, and provide beautiful foliage for the entire growing season. Our team designed a garden that incorporated both drought tolerant and native plants, such as coneflower, black-eyed Susan, and lavender to provide attractiveness from an aesthetic and a sustainability standpoint. In this situation, we needed to develop an interesting and eye-appealing garden design around an uneven part of the yard. Our innovative team overcame the problem by using every-changing grading techniques, native soil amendments, and organic amendments to provide appropriate drainage as the water moves through the different planting zones and for the individual plants. Believe it or not, besides selecting beautiful perennials, we were able to design a more intricate winding garden path with natural stone pavers. This path is designed to be peaceful and involved, while relating to the surrounding landscape. Our team detailed the flowing garden path thru boulders as our passageways, which supported a better-definition of the path, while added texture and visual interest to the overall space creating an inviting and organic aesthetic. The end result was a beautiful, colorful perennial garden that not only supports generating beautiful curb appeal for the home, it assists the homeowner in off-setting their private retreat within the complex that maintains integration to the outside. Our clients were enthusiastic and grateful to receive such a space to experience the brighter colors created by the talented garden designer, set a peaceful contradiction in engaging wildlife including butterflies and hummingbirds into the garden. Placing these three elements of creative landscape design enhances the quality of life for the homeowners and their children.
