The Indian Hills Contemporary Bathroom Remodels project in Louisville, KY, showcases a transformative approach to modernizing bathroom spaces. The project commenced with a comprehensive demolition of outdated elements, including all existing tile, cabinets, and bathtubs. This strategic removal was essential to lay the groundwork for a fresh and inviting atmosphere. One of the notable challenges faced during the remodel was creating adequate space for a stunning freestanding tub. To achieve this, we ingeniously cut into an adjacent closet, allowing for a seamless integration of the tub into the overall design. This bold decision not only maximized the utility of the area but also contributed to the modern aesthetic that the client desired. The remodel featured new ceramic tile throughout, providing a sleek and durable surface that complements the contemporary theme. In addition to the flooring, we installed state-of-the-art plumbing fixtures, including a striking tub filler that emerges from the floor, serving as a focal point in the room. The addition of beadboard on three walls introduced texture and charm, balancing the sleekness of the tile and fixtures. To enhance the overall ambiance, we incorporated a frameless shower enclosure, which not only adds a touch of elegance but also creates a sense of openness within the space.
