To overcome this, the design approach focused on expanding the existing back porch and incorporating a lower concrete patio, creating distinct zones for cooking and entertaining. The enlarged porch now serves as a comfortable gathering area, elegantly connecting the indoors with the outdoors. The lower patio was thoughtfully positioned to provide a seamless transition between the two spaces, allowing for versatile usage throughout the day. The choice of durable materials ensures that both the porch and patio withstand the elements while maintaining aesthetic appeal. High-quality concrete was selected for the patio surface, providing a clean and modern look, while the porch features sturdy, weather-resistant wooden framing that complements the home's architecture. To address the issue of overheating, a beautifully designed pergola was added, offering essential shade from the harsh summer sun. This structure not only enhances the visual appeal of the backyard but also adds functionality by allowing for a removable shade cloth.
