Patio by Cape Landscape Contractors LLC Cape Landscape Contractors LLC is excited to share our most recent "Patio ", an outdoor transformation completed for a client in Severna Park, Maryland. This is a wonderful example of our dedication and workmanship that merges quality and functionality to improve outdoor living. The Patio is a large, multi-leveled patio using premium durable pavers that have the natural look of stone and will last for years. Our team creatively incorporated several landscaping elements, including raised flower beds with native plant material that adds color and supports wildlife. The design also created a corner fire pit that is perfect when it gets colder, and several areas to sit; creating a great atmosphere anytime of the year. The team experienced some difficulty with an area of aggregation; where the water flows from the back yard causes the yard to pool and become flooded after storms. Our landscape architects did an excellent job studying the site and subsequently made several recommendations including grading and installing a french drain system which ensured water runoff did not pool on the patio. This was accomplished and once again improved the site as we intended. The end result is a beautiful space that flows with the natural landscape and provides the client a great place to retreat in their own backyard. The client is ecstatic, expressing how our patio improved their outdoor living - they are now able to enjoy parties and family functions in the backyard during summer months, which wasn't as successful or comfortable prior to the patio upgrade.
