About This Project

The Lake Stevens Shower and Powder Rooms project was a transformative endeavor aimed at addressing the pressing need for additional bathroom facilities in a busy family home. By repurposing two awkwardly shaped closets, we successfully created a spacious powder room and a generously sized shower room, allowing multiple users to enjoy the conveniences of modern bathrooms while ensuring privacy. The homeowners' primary concern revolved around the perceived darkness of the original space due to inadequate lighting. To counter this, we selected a palette of light-colored materials, complemented by the strategic installation of recessed can lights and elegant wall sconces, which collectively brighten the areas and create an inviting atmosphere. One of the significant challenges of the project involved navigating the sloped ceilings and irregular soffits of the existing closets. Rather than attempting to fit standard fixtures into these constraints, we opted to increase the overall footprint of the bathrooms. This decision not only provided ample headspace for both the shower and toilet but also enhanced the overall functionality of the rooms. The shower features a luxurious rain head, ensuring that even the tallest family members can enjoy a comfortable experience without the need to hunch over. The use of glass shower walls contributes to the open and airy feel of the space, allowing natural light to flow through while maintaining a sense of privacy. The craftsmanship displayed in the design and execution of these rooms highlights our commitment to quality and attention to detail. The result is a harmonious blend of style and practicality, perfectly tailored to accommodate the needs of a bustling household.
