The design showcases a sophisticated palette of native drought-tolerant plants, greenery, and hardscape elements. Sustainable methods were used by incorporating permeable stones and reclaimed wood for the decking spaces that allow for an enriching outdoor lifestyle while also being kind to the environment. Retaining walls of natural stone keep the space attractive yet functional and allow for tiered garden areas to increase the verticality of the property. The biggest challenge we had to tackle through this was that of slope. The entire garden is on a incline ground, so it needed to have measures in place to avoid any soil erosion, while looking good as well. Our designers skillfully organized the space with terraced garden beds to combat these issues and also serve as stunning centerpiece throughout the property with beautiful flowering and foliage blooming throughout the seasons. This deliberate design entices both local wildlife along with local residents to come enjoy nature. The end result is a welcoming outdoor oasis linking the inside of the home with the colourful landscape outside. Our clients loved that it now has a custom outdoor kitchen and fire pit area where they can entertain guests or spend quiet nights together under the stars.
