The Vintage Bathroom project in Grand Rapids exemplifies the perfect blend of classic elegance and modern functionality, transforming a standard space into a serene retreat. This project was guided by a vision to create a timeless aesthetic while incorporating contemporary amenities that meet today’s lifestyle needs. The design draws inspiration from vintage styles, showcasing intricate details that evoke a sense of nostalgia, yet feel fresh and inviting. The focal point of the bathroom is the stunning clawfoot tub, which serves as both a centerpiece and a nod to traditional design. Surrounding the tub, we selected a palette of soft, muted colors that enhance the vintage appeal, including pale blues and creamy whites, harmonizing beautifully with the natural light that floods the space. The walls feature classic subway tiles, meticulously laid in a herringbone pattern that adds texture and depth, while the wainscoting provides a charming contrast. High-quality materials were prioritized throughout the project, ensuring both durability and beauty. The custom cabinetry, crafted from reclaimed wood, not only aligns with the vintage theme but also offers ample storage, keeping the space neat and organized. The brushed nickel fixtures complement the overall design, combining functionality with vintage charm.
