About This Project

The Big Chapman Lake Residence project transformed an outdoor area into a stunning kitchen and living space, perfectly complementing the upper deck installed in 2015. With a firm timeline set for a wedding rehearsal party in June 2018, our team worked diligently to create a versatile outdoor environment that would accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate dinners for two to lively celebrations with numerous guests. Understanding the Clients' passion for culinary experiences, we focused on integrating a high-quality outdoor kitchen that would not only meet their cooking needs but also enhance their entertaining capabilities. The design choices were meticulously curated to balance functionality with aesthetic appeal. The outdoor kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, including a built-in grill, refrigerator, and ample counter space for food preparation. We utilized durable, weather-resistant materials that ensure longevity while maintaining a refined appearance. The craftsmanship involved in this project is evident in the custom cabinetry and seamless integration of the kitchen with the surrounding living space, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages social gatherings. A key aspect of the project was the Clients' desire for a fully automated outdoor living experience. To achieve this, we incorporated smart technology that allows control over lighting, heating, and cooling systems, creating a comfortable environment regardless of the weather. The design features waterproof covered spaces that provide shelter without sacrificing the open feel of a traditional pergola. This approach allows the Clients to enjoy their outdoor space year-round, embracing the beauty of nature while remaining sheltered from the elements. The outcome of the Big Chapman Lake Residence project is a sophisticated outdoor kitchen and living area that fulfills the Clients' vision of a perfect entertaining space. The combination of high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and expert craftsmanship has resulted in a stunning outdoor retreat, ideally suited for memorable gatherings and culinary adventures.
