Our work began with a thorough analysis of the site, including the topography of the land, soil conditions and existing plant life. With this information as a background, our team pieced together a thoughtful palette of landscaping that included local native plants, ornamental trees and colorful flower beds; informing and improving the look and biodiversity of the property. The included a beautiful stone patio made from locally quarried bluestone, creating an elegant, durable space for outdoor entertaining. Adjacent to the patio was a new fireplace surrounded by natural boulders for socializing in the cooler months. Lastly, a unique irrigation system, designed by Hidden Springs Irrigation, was installed to sustainably monitor water conservation while keeping the landscaping lush. During the course of work, the team faced uneven ground and drainage issues, which are not uncommon with the Amwell Valley. The landscapers graded and finished the land and installed a French drainage system to properly direct water, preventing erosion. The team addressed these challenges, and the result was a base for a landscape that would have no limits - or your living space, now a landscape rushing with strong growth! The final product of artistry and function was amazing and a pleasure for the family, as their outdoor space became an extension of their home, for relaxing or entertaining family and friends.
