Zoysia Sod Re-grade and Installation by Clean Cut Landscape Co Recently, Clean Cut Landscape Co executed a full Zoysia sod installation and grading job in the beautiful neighborhoods of Destrehan and Metairie. The Southern climate creates distinct landscaping issues to navigate in the to convert the existing yard into a fresh open area of thriving grass with very little unevenness. Our crew began on-site with a site assessment to visualize where we would need to grade the existing yard to ensure proper water drainage and preparation to lay the Zoysia sod. We brought in quality topsoil and a fine-tuned grading machine to evenly level the yard to avoid water pooling or dirt erosion during the install. We chose Zoysia grass specifically because of its durability, lush texture, and growth in the local area. The installation process was completed with high precision. The sod was laid in a staggered/slop pattern to inhibit seams during growth. Some hurdles encountered were adjustments due to varying soil types and ensuring enough moist ground for sod establishment. The resulting final restoration of the yard was a beautiful, green area that accomplished revitalization of curb appeal and gave our client a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant lawn. Their excitement when they saw the finished was contagious!
