Kaysville, Utah 2018 - Premier Landscapes In 2018, Premier Landscapes had the pleasure of acquiring and completing an exciting landscaping in Kaysville, Utah, an outstanding demonstration of our craftsmanship and creativity. The completed included elements of hardscaping and softscaping, with an emphasis on the design of the landscape to both enhance and serve the outdoor space. The completed began with a thorough site assessment of the area, allowing our team to pursue solutions to the client’s wishes, while also addressing the unique topographic elements of the site. We created stunning natural stone pathways and large natural stone retaining walls using local materials. Our implementation of natural stone added durability, and a cohesive relationship to the surrounding topography. Furthermore, we applied impermeable pavers for the paths allowing for attractive surface while managing drainage in the event of rain which Kaysville saw as an uncommon challenge during heavy rains. Softscaping was emphasized equally with a comprehensive collection of drought-tolerant plants, including native shrubs and ornamental grasses, which would grow well in the Utah climate. The carefully selected plants were designed to afford seasonal interest and animal appeal in very short order. They brought color and diversity to the foliage, complemented by the placement of accent boulders and water features to elevate the attractiveness and tranquility of the outdoor space. Navigating an existing irrigation layout and the challenges it brought with it was one of the major challenges presented with this scope outside of its design and install. Our team navigated and adjusted the irrigation layout of the while still allowing for conservation and management of water needs to maintain a lush and vibrant landscape. The completed yielded an extraordinary outdoor living/eating/gathering oasis the family desired. The combination of functional hardscaping and colorful garden beds yielded an inviting family space for gathering events, activities, etc. Even the client noted very positive comments our attention to their and professionalism.
