Nestled within a serene cul-de-sac in the Regency Area of Cary, this extraordinary transformation project elevated a standard home into a stately residence, embodying both elegance and modern functionality. The clients sought to reimagine the main level, desiring an expansive open-plan layout that seamlessly integrates a luxurious kitchen, a grand entry foyer, and a sophisticated butler’s pantry. The addition at the rear of the home, while modest at just 250 square feet, significantly enhanced the overall aesthetic and spatial experience of the property. The architectural vision prioritized improved spatial flow, introducing distinctive features such as a sculptural staircase that serves as a focal point, along with grand archways that invite movement and light throughout the space. Custom woodwork was meticulously crafted to reflect high-quality craftsmanship, adding character and warmth to the interiors. A striking backlit stone fireplace surround not only provides a cozy gathering spot but also elevates the design with its contemporary appeal. Expansive glass doors were thoughtfully incorporated, bridging the indoor living spaces with the outdoors and opening to a spacious deck that gently terraces down to a lower deck, patio, and an inviting pool area.
