The Lahontan Kitchen Remodel successfully transformed a dated 20-year-old kitchen into a bright and inviting space that combines modern elegance with functionality. The original kitchen, characterized by stained cabinets and a dark ambiance, underwent a significant makeover that revitalized both its aesthetic and utility. The perimeter cabinets were beautifully painted in a sophisticated blue-grey, enhancing the lightness of the space, while the island was crafted in a custom white with black glazing, providing a striking focal point. For the countertops, a stunning grey and white quartzite was selected for the perimeter, seamlessly blending with the overall color scheme, while the island boasts a luxurious leathered black honed granite that adds depth and contrast. The kitchen's functionality was elevated with the replacement of the old sink, which was upgraded to a stylish farmhouse-style white porcelain apron sink, complemented by a new faucet and a convenient hot/cold water dispenser. The removal of the outdated trash compactor allowed for the installation of a double trash pull-out drawer, enhancing organization and accessibility. Additional enhancements include the integration of a two-drawer beverage fridge and an ice maker, catering to modern entertaining needs. The backsplash was meticulously designed using elegant white marble tiles in a hexagon shape, adding a touch of sophistication, while geometric pendant lights suspended over the peninsula introduced contemporary flair and improved illumination. Every recessed can light was updated to energy-efficient LED units, contributing to both sustainability and enhanced lighting quality throughout the kitchen.
