"Gardens" by Carolyn's Landscaping, Inc. Carolyn's Landscaping, Inc. developed the "Gardens" in the beautiful Lowcountry through our landscape design construction s in the lovely towns of Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island. This exemplifies our commitment to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction in the services we provide. As originally envisioned, the "Gardens" was to create a quiet outdoor oasis that would blend seamlessly into the beauty of nature. Our team started with an extensive site analysis to evaluate the specific landscape conditions and challenges exposed by the coastal context including sandy soils, salt, and micro climates. We selected and installed all native plants including palmettos, azaleas, and ferns to ensure that it would be a sustainable living environment for the garden plus provide a habitat for local wildlife. We utilized high-quality materials to install local tabby concrete custom stone pathways, which added functionality to and aesthetics to the space and durability in several challenging environmental terrains. Our artisans constructed beautiful wooden arbors and trellises which provide exquisite vertical interest plus the opportunity for lush climbing vines. In navigating issues of drainage during storms, we remedial the space by including a voracious rain garden; which served two purposes of managing storm water in a contemporary garden focal area. As with any , we experienced ongoing challenges in terms of uneven terrain and invasive plant species in areas we installed. However, our team faced tasked challenges with creative and innovative notions to ensure the garden is sustainable and beautiful. We valued constant collaborative engagement with our clients by communicating openly to incorporate any modifications on their ideas. The final result is simply amazing! The "Gardens" has extraordinary flower beds filled with colorful delights to treat the eye, serene seating areas inviting solitude, and an organic relationship with hardscape to softscape. The clients and Carolyn's Landscaping, Inc. could not contain the transformation as they described their new garden as a self-made retreat that is exactly what Lowcountry living symbolizes.
