The homeowners decided to install a fiberglass pool, which provided a durable and low maintenance option. We dug a huge hole, which we ensured had adequate drainage and flatness, and set the fiberglass pool in a way that would seamlessly tie the pool into the landscape. Once the fiberglass pool was installed and filled with water, we treated the area immediately surrounding the pool by designing a custom patio with high quality pavers that provided a modern and stylish border, as well as safety and durability as a pooling area. The custom patio was embellished with patio furniture and lighting to open up the space for incredible evening gatherings... For the rest of the backyard, we created a lush space native to the area, with blooming shrubs, flowers, and grasses for texture and movement. We also ripped out the existing sod and replaced it with a brand new lawn. One of the challenges we had to deal with was that the backyard was sloped. We creatively solved that by using tiered planters resembling a deck or patio for structural stability and depth in the landscape design. It also met all drainage requirements. The final result was absolutely stunning. The homeowners were thrilled with their new backyard oasis where they could relax and entertain. The combination of pool, patio and new landscaping provided a true depiction of their style and increased their overall home value.
