Tropical Oasis by Artisan Landscapes Artisan Landscapes is excited to present the "Tropical" , a transformation in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. This landscape was developed to create a relaxing oasis that captures the lushness of a tropical paradise and gives our discerning client with a Coral Ridge residence an extraordinary outdoor living experience. Our design team developed an attractive layout populated with colorful native plants, including large palms, colorful hibiscus, and fragrant plumeria plants, creating a rich, layered effect of color and texture you would expect from a tropical experience. We sourced and used quality, natural stone as pathways that naturally flow through the landscape. The plants and stones create a beautiful and safe pathway that were laid out professionally to be sustainable while no hindering the natural pathways already established. Incorporating the existing topography into the design was a primary challenge facing our team. However, with some grading and drainage, our trained professionals successfully implemented and assured that water would continue to travel sustainably through the garden and not lead to erosion. We installed an irrigation system to focus on the varying watering needs of the plants to prosper and provide for sustainable gardening and less maintenance. The canopy outdoor living area is a custom-built structure that includes a beautifully constructed pergola with climbing vines on one side, and open views of the surrounding landscape on the other side. This area is a tranquil space where our clients can feel peace and enjoy their home including hosting events. Sustainable sourced hardwood was used to ensure environmentally acceptable practices in their living area. The end result of the "Tropical" was beyond a surprise to our clients. Their new landscape is colorful and lush, adding an elaborate curb appeal to their home while also being another layer of a personal sanctuary that is steps from that of their home.
