The Sauna - MS32 project redefines the conventional sauna experience by seamlessly integrating a custom-designed sauna into an existing bathroom space in Graz, Styria. The client specifically sought a unique aesthetic that steered away from standard prefabricated options, opting instead for a sculptural design that enhances the overall ambiance of the room. The result is a stunning “house in the room” concept, where the sauna stands as an artistic centerpiece rather than a mere functional addition. Crafted from Tsuga (Hemlock), the sauna exhibits a remarkable interplay of form and function. The design features floating reclining surfaces and continuous lines that invite relaxation while emphasizing the beauty of natural materials. The inclined roof surfaces not only accentuate the sculptural effect but also promote a sense of openness and space. Inside, the lying area is finished with aspen wood, chosen for its quality and warmth, further elevating the luxurious feel of the sauna experience. One of the standout aspects of the MS32 sauna is its expansive glazing.
