The 'Front Walkway' from Green Meadows Landscaping Inc turns an ordinary entryway into an impressive centerpiece, combining beauty and functionality amidst the hustle and bustle of Oakland, positioning it perfectly within its vibrant community setting. We wanted to create a welcoming entrance so we designed a path that leads guests from the street right up to the front door, making this place really appealing from the street. Using only quality natural stone pavers we achieved classy yet durable walkway with long-lasting performance that easily matches the house design. The colourful stones were purposefully matched things nearby to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. The most challenging aspect of this property was its slope and uneven ground requiring some very creative ideas for drainage and stability. Using degree and shovel, our professional group leveled the ground, adding gravel base to fill and protect beat, which is very helpful for drainage as well. Not only did this solve the problem of draining the lawn artifacts, it also gave a nice firm base for the lovely pavers. We then took that idea and pushed the pathway up a few more feet before reinstalling it alongside the edges with lush perennial plantings of colorful daylilies and fragrant lavender for color and texture during all months of the year. The path is lit with sold low-voltage LED lighting, providing safety after sunset for essential access, but also a magical atmosphere that shows off the beauty of the landscape. Our client was pleased with the final result, stating how the renovation had changed the entry of their home for the better.Check out the photos below!
