About This Project

The Rose Teen Dream project involved a comprehensive redesign of a young girl’s bedroom, transforming the space into a stunning retreat that beautifully balances elegance with functionality. Located in Overland Park, Kansas, the project was crafted with careful attention to detail, ensuring that the environment not only reflects the personality of its young occupant but also meets practical needs for storage and usability. At the heart of the design is a striking mural wallpapered accent wall, which serves as the focal point of the room. This carefully selected wallpaper features whimsical patterns and vibrant colors that capture the imagination while adding depth and character to the space. Complementing the mural, we chose a soft, neutral palette for the remaining walls, which allows the accent wall to shine as a centerpiece without overwhelming the senses. The furniture selection was another critical aspect of the project. We integrated contemporary pieces that blend style with practicality, including a chic bed frame, a stylish desk for homework, and smart storage solutions, such as built-in shelves and under-bed drawers. Each piece was chosen not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its functionality, ensuring that the room remains organized and clutter-free. Craftsmanship played a vital role throughout the renovation process. Skilled artisans were engaged to ensure that every detail—from the seamless installation of the wallpaper to the precision of the furniture assembly—was executed to perfection. The final outcome is a beautifully reimagined bedroom that radiates warmth and charm, making it a space that the young girl truly loves. It is a harmonious blend of upscale design, practical storage, and personal touches, creating a dream haven that will grow with her over the years. The project was completed within a budget range of $2,501 to $5,000, showcasing that a beautiful transformation is achievable without excessive expenditure.
