We used engineered quality permeable materials to absorb the water and promote soil health and percolation, including river rocks and organic mulch. During the installation, we encountered issues related to other existing root systems and compacted soil, which combined meant we had to preserve the home environment and use excavation and soil amendments to remedy and create the best plant environment for the plant material we chose.
