Landscape Maintenance by Decked Out Landscapes Decked Out Landscapes has recently turned overgrown and neglected landscape areas into a beautiful and maintainable outdoor space for communities in Buckhall, Bull Run, Dale City, Dumfries, Independent Hill, Lake Ridge, Manassas, Manassas Park, Montclair, Occoquan, Potomac Mills, Quantico, Triangle, and Woodbridge. Our teams are up to the challenge of transforming neglected and overgrown outdoor areas into an appealing, maintainable landscape that creates an appealing outdoor experience. This involved performing minor and major lawn care that included tasks like aerating and overseeding the lawns to help the grass grow better. Plants were removed as we selected excellent, drought resistant sod that would keep nice, green lawns while conserving water. Gardeners and horticulturists shaped and pruned over 200 ornamental shrubs and trees. Care was taken to shape the plants considering their natural forms to help them develop substainable growth habits. Organic fertilizers and pest control applications were also employed to help improve, protect, and care for the plants without compromising the environment. One of the major challenges was that soils across different properties varied considerably. Teams took soil samples, which were analyzed in a laboratory, to evaluate nutrient levels specific to that property's location. Once we received the reports, we amended the existing soils to provide the specific nutrients needed to improve plant performance and help establish a balanced ecosystems. We then designed and installed a simple, yet attractive, irrigation system that provided optimized water to the plants and lawns with minimal water waste, especially during the hottest months. The overall outcome of the was impressive. Clients were very happy with their outdoor environments. Properties had colorful flower beds with seasonal plantings and color displays, bordered and edged walks, and gardens that were evenly mulched and maintainable to help the plants and woody ornamental perform sustainably and flourish.
