The homeowner's vision was expertly interpreted by MD Fletcher LLC, resulting in a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. The project involved a partial remodel that harmonized the need for hardwood flooring repair with an innovative kitchen layout. Central to the remodel was the design of a new peninsula layout, which replaced the existing 45-degree wing wall extension that previously housed the dishwasher. This configuration not only improved workflow but also enhanced the kitchen's overall accessibility. The raised bar was removed and the peninsula wall brought down to cabinet height, allowing for seamless integration of the dishwasher and a 15-inch base cabinet system. This thoughtful redesign maximized the utility of the kitchen while maintaining an inviting atmosphere. The choice of materials played a crucial role in elevating the kitchen's aesthetic. New White Springs granite countertops were fabricated and installed by Walker Tops, providing a stunning surface that complements the modern design.
