About This Project

Indian Head by Seoane Landscape Design Located in the center of Milton, the "Indian Head" exemplifies Seoane Landscape Design's dedication to creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that coexist with nature. This important took an uneven, sloping back yard and transformed it into an aesthetically pleasing landscape that performs beautifully. The included a stunning overly patterned multi-tiered patio made of locally sourced bluestone that was both durable and incredibly beautiful. This patio space is perfect for hosting family and friends and includes an outdoor kitchen and fire pit to provide comfort even in winter. The patio was accompanied by native plantings and flowering shrubs that not only provided beauty and contrast to the landscape, but also increased biodiversity and sustainability. Managing drainage on the slope was a significant challenge for this site. Following an analysis of water paths through the property we installed a French drain system to move water, and prevent erosion. This enhanced the sustainability of the landscape. We also built a natural stone retaining wall that added another functional yet attractive feature to the design and helped to connect terraced areas of the yard. Upon completion, we had clients who were taken back with the final product! A soothing landscape to foster relaxation, as well as hosting family and friends. The effort in design, materials, and execution epitomizes the high standards of quality that is inherent in a Seoane Landscape Design . Together this property transformed a yard into a beautiful retreat for the homeowners.
