The Tradewinds Complete Home Remodel project in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL, exemplifies a stunning transformation from an outdated Mediterranean-style residence into a modern oasis characterized by a neutral palette and functional design. The renovation process began with a comprehensive assessment of the existing structure and a clear vision of how to best utilize the space to meet the client's needs. One of the most significant changes involved relocating the kitchen, which was strategically moved to foster an open concept great room. This design choice not only improved the flow of the home but also allowed for an abundance of cabinetry, catering to the clients' desire for ample storage while maintaining an inviting atmosphere. The project also included enclosing a carport to create a spacious garage, adding a half bathroom for convenience, and a meticulous reworking of the master suite layout. The original small closet and master bathroom were reimagined, combining these spaces with a portion of the kitchen to create a luxurious, spa-like oversized master bath. This new master retreat features high-end finishes, including elegant tile work and modern fixtures, seamlessly blending style with comfort. In the guest bathroom, which will serve as the children's bathroom, we undertook a complete gut renovation. The transformation included converting an existing shower into a practical bathtub/shower combo while adding a linen closet to enhance functionality. Attention to budget was paramount, and all design choices were made to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. The result is a beautifully designed space that is both economical and appealing, demonstrating craftsmanship at its finest.
