CARROLL GARDENS CUSTOM PERGOLA DESIGN Introducing The Carroll Gardens Custom Pergola Design by Amber Freda Garden Design, A Beautiful Addition to the Outdoor Living Space of a Brooklyn Home. We invite you to view this as a demonstration of our quality craftsmanship and landscaping solutions that specifically address the specialized needs of our clients living within the vibrant neighborhoods we service, such as in Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, and more. We started with a thorough consultation where we carefully analyzed what exactly the client had in mind for their outdoor space. The aim of the design was to make a functional and welcoming space that is perfectly in sync with the landscape surrounding it, and a great haven from which the homeowner can relax and entertain. In order to address the challenges of a small urban lot, we used the best of the best materials with regards to their longevity, sourcing cedar from local forests, using naturally weathering galvanized steel, and opting for kit plastic for the sheltered areas. We designed the pergola to provide light with its intricate lattice work as it allows for natural light to filter through but also offers enough shade to make it a pleasant experience whenever throughout the day. We also added some climbing vines and ambient lighting, turning the pergola into an eye-catching element that adds to the beauty of the property. This careful integration, however, took the outdoor space to the next level, bringing nature inside the home where city noise could be avoided. The finished product turned out to be better then expected, and the client was pleased with their new outdoor oasis. That custom pergola has since become the perfect backdrop for the gatherings, family time, and quiet star-lit evenings that epitomize the Brooklyn life.
