The is located in quaint St Peters, Australia, and incorporated the entire redesign of a residential home that was wonderfully fitted into the natural habitat from with pops of color and nature's beauty! The is comprised of several thoughtfully selected elements, such as local species plants that grow well in the local climate, thus conserving and respecting the local ecosystem. Every step of the incorporated landscaping paths built with flagstone sourced from the area, meandering and shaping the experience from area to area where some flourish of beauty and seasonal color were made prominent. We completed the with the addition of a water feature that creates a natural and harmonic sound throughout while ensuring the ambiance across the full yard was tranquil and peaceful. Landscape grading naturally was probably one of the more significant considerations given the design all sat on a slope that we wanted to ensure design aptitura and similar drainage so there was almost as little erosion as possible. We were able to maintain the slope direction and lay out of the vegetation without "levelling" the land in a flat manner; therefore, also keeping the beauty as we experienced different aspects of the yard moving around the space. There was also consideration to using hardscaping "elements" for some structure and texture to the softscaping; therefore, there was functional natural wood decking and decorative gravel paths for more texture in contrast to the softscaping layers but added aesthetic nature to the home! There was also landscape lighting included to highlight some components and so the client could continue using the space after sunset! The end result is simply stunning! We exceed the clients expectations; we created for them an outdoor oasis that they can utilize daily for stretching, relaxing, and entertaining. The detail and finish ended up improving the curb appeal of the property and also increased the value!
