Pergola & Patio by Elevate Outdoor Elevate Outdoor is excited to present our most recent residential landscaping our Pergola & Patio , which we completed for a very particular client in O'Fallon. This beautiful outdoor area is the perfect blend of beauty, form, and practicality, done to upgrade an underutilized yard to an outdoor oasis. The Pergola is a well-planned structure that features a wooden pergola, made of cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay, and is built to last. The cedar color is visible in the structure, which provides an incredible amount of shaded area for the space while looking great when surrounded by climbing vines with added, soft lighting for an inviting space for evenings. The adjoining patio is a large (multi-level) outdoor space made from high-quality porcelain paver stones that look like natural stones. Each paver is purposely chosen for style and durability to create a new area for the patio that is consistent with the surrounding space. The existing patio area was purposefully designed to make separate dining, lounging, and entertaining areas for family and any gatherings with friends. During the , our team had to problem solve a few existing challenges presented by too many slopes in the terrain and as a result of some existing drainage issues. With several design measures and proper grading, we directed water away from the patio and designed the overall outer edge for appealing aesthetics. We designed areas with landscaping vegetation to bring in color and texture and partnered with the client on using primarily native plants and flowering evergreen shrubs. A plush, low-maintenance landscape extends the aesthetics and beauty of the whole experience well past the end of the growing season. The end product is a beautiful outdoor gathering space that truly delighted the client. The Pergola and Patio reflects an exemplary combination of elevated and quality features.
