The Get Out/Get In project, initiated in 2019 in the picturesque setting of Jackson, WY, was conceived as a transformative initiative aimed at reconnecting individuals with the natural world. The project addresses the prevalent trend where 90% of visitors to our National Parks remain confined to paved roads, often missing the extraordinary experiences that lie just beyond their vehicles. By encouraging participants to “get out” of their cars, homes, and daily routines, and “get in” to immersive experiences, Get Out/Get In invites them to discover the hidden wonders of their surroundings. The design of the project reflects a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and functionality, utilizing sustainable materials that resonate with the natural environment. Crafted with an emphasis on preserving the integrity of the landscape, the spaces created are both inviting and thought-provoking. The use of natural wood finishes, stone elements, and large glass panels allows for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
