The Tomlison Woods Main Floor Remodel is a stunning transformation that seamlessly blends modern functionality with a touch of French country charm. Designed by the talented Tiffany Williams of Tangerine Designs, this project was initiated in 2019 and has since become a centerpiece of elegance in Omaha, NE. The client’s vision for the remodel included a desire for a spacious center island, a built-in refrigerator, increased counter space, beautiful wood flooring, ample pantry space, and a larger window above the sink to enhance natural light. To achieve this ambitious design, we strategically bumped back into the garage, allowing for an expansive layout that incorporates all desired elements. The relocation of the laundry into an unused space in the garage not only optimized functionality but also provided room for a generous walk-through pantry situated behind the range wall. This innovative use of space ensures that the kitchen remains both stylish and practical, accommodating the needs of a modern household. Further enhancing the kitchen’s appeal, we extended the structure by two feet into the garage to create a designated area for the built-in refrigerator and display cabinets. This thoughtful design choice not only contributes to the kitchen's aesthetic but also facilitates better workflow and organization. Central to this remodel is the newly installed center island, which serves as a focal point for both culinary activities and social gatherings. The entire main floor boasts new hardwood flooring, which brings warmth and continuity throughout the space. The craftsmanship involved in this remodel is evident in the meticulous attention to detail and the quality materials used, ensuring durability and beauty for years to come.
