Value: $50K $100K / Subsurface Drainage by Lakeview's Grass Doctors At Lakeview's Grass Doctors we just finished installing on a innovative subsurface drainage in New Orleans to help clients alleviate standing water and the overall health of their landscape. The best perforated pipe and and geotextile fabric was used in this to manage the water while preserving the natural look of the garden. Traditional problems we needed to tackle were the clay soil prevalent in the area, which is known to hold water and does not drain well. Trenches were dug by our team, who have experience in laying drainage systems to remove flooded water away from flowerbeds and foundations. We included catch basins to promote water flow we wanted the landscape to be robust and responsive even during times of heavy rainfall! It was nothing less than magical when it all came together. The client was really happy having the garden flourishing without the risk of waterlogging and ensuring plants are growing in a healthy way. The drainage system was perfectly integrated with existing landscape and maintained visual value in their outdoor space while allowing the functionality they were missing.
