Situated in the center of Boise, this highlights a perfect balance of form and function tailored perfectly for the needs of the homeowner. A carefully designed hardscape with natural stone patio allows for relaxation and entertaining. To connect them all, we installed high-end bluestone pavers that lead to outdoor living areas. An inbuilt firepit offers a social centre, ringed with seating that is low-maintenance, making it well-suited for evening get-togethers under the stars. We also brought in drought-tolerant plants to naturally beautify the property that will grow well in the local environment. We chose a place with a diverse palette of native shrubs and perennials which would prevent the landscape from appearing bare at any seasons and require little effort to maintain. The installation of a refined irrigation system, where every drop of water is better utilized, embodies our sustainability ethos. The slope of the site was one of the design challenges during this , as we needed to mitigate it to provide flat areas for planting and recreation. In managing the slope, an embroidered set of retaining walls with local stone was used to create visual interest and texture in the landscape. The end result spoke for itself; our client was agape as their yard transformed into a dream space that is both beautiful and functional.
