The Seattle Residence Primary Bath Remodel epitomizes modern elegance and functional design, transforming a standard 1990s master bathroom into a luxurious sanctuary. Our goal was to maximize the usability of the space while enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The original large built-in bathtub and shower were removed, making way for a spacious, walk-in shower that serves as the centerpiece of the room. This new shower design not only offers a refreshing escape but also enhances the overall flow of the bathroom, allowing for a more cohesive experience. In place of the former shower, we installed custom linen cabinets that seamlessly integrate with the overall design. These cabinets are thoughtfully crafted to appear as a 'floating' unit, creating an illusion of space and ease of cleaning, while providing ample storage. The design cleverly avoids the challenges of dust accumulation in hard-to-reach corners, making maintenance simple and efficient. The choice of materials plays a crucial role in the bathroom's striking appearance. A sophisticated palette of gray tiles, complemented by glass and wood-look tiles, creates a harmonious balance between modernity and warmth. The flat-panel black cabinets add a touch of sophistication, while the quartz countertops and vessel sink introduce an element of luxury. Every detail, from the two-piece toilet to the carefully placed niche for toiletries, has been meticulously chosen to enhance both functionality and beauty. The final outcome is a mid-sized minimalist master bath that not only meets the practical needs of everyday use but also serves as a tranquil retreat. The combination of thoughtful craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and innovative design solutions results in a space that is both inviting and stylish.
