The New Shower project in Zumbrota, Minnesota, transformed a dated bathroom space into a modern oasis, showcasing a stunning before-and-after contrast that highlights the meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design choices made throughout the process. The project budget ranged between $5001 and $7500, allowing for high-quality materials and finishes that elevate the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space. The scope of the project involved completely gutting the existing shower area, which was outdated and inefficient. In its place, we introduced a spacious and inviting shower design that seamlessly integrates modern elements with timeless elegance. The walls were adorned with large-format porcelain tiles, chosen for their sleek appearance and durability, while the floor was finished with textured, slip-resistant tiles that ensure safety without compromising style. The centerpiece of this new shower is a beautifully designed glass enclosure that provides an airy feel while allowing light to flow freely throughout the space. The frameless design enhances the modern look, making the shower appear larger and more open. A rain showerhead was installed to offer a luxurious bathing experience, complemented by a handheld shower for convenience and versatility. Attention to detail was paramount in this project, with custom cabinetry and shelving providing functional storage without sacrificing design integrity. The choice of a minimalist color palette, featuring soft whites and subtle grays, creates a tranquil atmosphere, while polished chrome fixtures add a touch of sophistication.
