Nestled on a premier lake lot in Burnsville, MN, the Lakeside project was a transformative journey that turned a beautiful yet outdated home into a stunning retreat. The property features expansive windows that frame breathtaking views of the water, creating an ideal backdrop for family gatherings. Our clients sought a significant refresh to enhance the home’s aesthetic and functionality, beginning with the removal of all existing furniture from the main level. We meticulously painted every inch of the walls and woodwork, elevating the spacious kitchen, which boasts two islands, to a modern standard. The choice of a fresh, neutral palette allowed the natural light to illuminate the space, enhancing the lake views while providing a warm and inviting environment. The original yellow maple floors were expertly refinished, preserving their character while giving them a renewed vibrancy that complements the updated design. In sourcing new furnishings, we prioritized comfort and style, ensuring ample seating was integrated into every space. The layout was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the client’s love for hosting large family gatherings, with a seamless flow from the dining area to the living spaces.
