Sanctuary Gardens PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC is thrilled to present the Sanctuary Gardens - an innovative landscape that has transformed the way our clients experienced outdoor living in the heart of a tranquil neighborhood in North Salem. Tucked into the rolling hills, the encapsulated and embraced nature and design, creating a refuge that both reflects and improves upon the existing beauty of the area. At the center of Sanctuary Gardens is a carefully crafted layout that includes thoughtfully selected native areas with ornamental grasses and colorful perennial beds. Using high profile materials including natural stone walkways and sustainably harvested woods, we began to establish a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. Also part of the was an elaborate water feature that includes a waterfall and koi pond - adding visual interest to the garden while creating a relaxing atmosphere. It is notable that the site's natural slop represented a significant challenge to the 's success. Therefore, prior to completion of the we had to finalize grading solutions to ensure proper drainage and protection against erosion. Our skilled construction team utilized advanced techniques to create tiered planting beds that both improved aesthetics while providing functional outdoor spaces. The end result is a visually beautiful sanctuary that delights our clients with various mix of form and function. The fragrance of flowering plants, the sights and sounds of the trickling water, and the hues of the changing seasons and times of day all were intentionally designed to create a sense of peace and relaxation.
