About This Project

The “Clean Line’s” project in Ballwin, Missouri, transformed a previously cramped and outdated master bathroom into a spacious and modern oasis. The original layout featured awkward angles and a single vanity, with a shower positioned over a set of steps, which limited both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Our design approach focused on maximizing space and enhancing comfort, resulting in a remarkable increase of approximately 10 inches in the shower area, providing a more luxurious experience. One of the significant challenges was the open placement of the commode, which offered no privacy. To address this, we strategically installed a wall cabinet that not only concealed the commode but also provided essential storage for towels and other bathroom essentials, compensating for the absence of linen closets in the area. This thoughtful design choice significantly improved the room's functionality while maintaining a clean and organized appearance. We replaced the outdated plastic marble surfaces with elegant finishes, including a two-person soaking tub that serves as both a focal point and a retreat for relaxation. The plumbing was adapted to accommodate a second sink, meeting the needs of a modern couple while enhancing the overall flow of the space. Behind the mirrors, additional storage was integrated, providing a seamless solution for everyday items without disrupting the sleek design. The craftsmanship involved in this project reflects a commitment to quality and detail, with a focus on minimalist aesthetics. The use of black tile and porcelain in the alcove shower, complemented by a hinged shower door, enhances the contemporary look while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. The completed “Clean Line’s” bathroom not only fulfills practical needs but also embodies a refined elegance, making it a standout feature of the home. This transformation demonstrates how thoughtful design and skilled execution can turn a functional space into a serene sanctuary, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
