The includes a fully functional outdoor kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a custom stone grill, and ample granite counters […] The kitchen has been position in such manner that you have a view of the well-landscaped garden. It allows you to transition from cooking to relaxing seamlessly. We used native flower and plantings that thrive in Louisiana around the kitchen for integration into the landscape to bring beauty and sustainability. Along with this kitchen, we created a handmade gazebo using long-lasting weather-resistant materials. The structure not only gives you a little shaded area but is a decorative dining area with custombuilt seating and rustic wooden table where you can enjoy an alfresco dining experience. With an open structure, the gazebo provides sweeping views across the expansive landscape beyond, creating a peaceful retreat without having togo far, just in the client’s back yard. Working on a like this had its challenges, including the unlevel land and creating drainage to handle the heavy rainfall that Louisiana has to offer. With precise ground leveling, this job also involved a hidden drainage system that will serve for many, many years. The end product is a seamless integration of nature and contemporary lifestyle that fulfills the client's wish to use their outdoor area in all four seasons. The result was met with great delight by clients who were extremely pleased with the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that Eduardo Jenkins Landscape Architect & Planner, LLC provides. Not only did this beautiful outdoor kitchen and gazebo increase the value of their property but it also increased the value of their lives, making their backyard a real sanctuary!
