This began with the clients' desire to create a warm, outdoor gathering space where they could entertain family and friends. After thoroughly evaluating the spacewhich presented its own complications of hilly terrain and greenerywe proceeded with careful work on the property, leveling the uneven terrain to create a solid, flat area for the paver patio to be built on. We chose high quality, dependable pavers that were earthy and warm in coloration to blend into the natural view. The design itself introduced an open and ample conversation-friendly, multi-tiered patio layout with a clear emphasis on relaxation. Also appealing the sense of tranquility while interacting with nature, we built a fire place out of natural stone masonry that added warmth, while simultaneously providing an unrivaled aesthetic presence for gatherings with family and friends at night. One of the challenging aspects of this involved the design for the fire place to complement the patio while also ensuring safety and functionality. With forward thinking and careful planning, we addressed all of these hurdles to create a great blend of functionality and design. Furthermore, and to offer extra seating near the fire place, we designed a full, built-in fire seating area that is perfect for cool and cozy nights beneath the stars! The final product left us speechless. Beyond our own expectations, this transformed the outdoor space into an undeniably beautiful and usable outdoor living space.
