The deck resurface project in Limerick, Pennsylvania, involved a comprehensive transformation of an existing wooden deck that had suffered from significant wear and deterioration. The original wood deckboards were rotting and splintering, posing safety concerns and detracting from the aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space. To address these issues, the old deckboards were meticulously removed, paving the way for a fresh and durable solution that would enhance both functionality and visual appeal. In this project, we opted for the installation of Fiberon Good Life Cottage deckboards, known for their superior performance and low maintenance requirements. These composite boards not only provide a long-lasting alternative to wood but also offer a beautiful finish that complements the surrounding environment. The chosen color scheme features a rich design that adds elegance and warmth to the outdoor area. Additionally, matching fascia was installed to create a seamless look, while Nantucket gray lattice was incorporated to provide an attractive and practical solution for under-deck concealment. To further enhance the safety and style of the deck, we installed Superior White 1000 series railings paired with model balusters. This combination not only increases safety for users but also adds a modern touch to the overall design. The clean lines and crisp color of the railings contrast beautifully with the earthy tones of the deckboards, resulting in a visually striking outdoor space that invites relaxation and enjoyment. The final outcome of the deck resurface project showcases a meticulously crafted outdoor area that balances durability with aesthetic appeal.
