Epicurious Gardens A beautiful transformation for Home & Garden Construction Group 'Epicurious Gardens' in the heart of Vallejo! This overgrown landscaping sought to form another oasis that captures energy in a visual and functional way. Based in the Bay Area and working with a diverse clientele, we took on the challenge of creating a beautiful garden and a culinary resource for the household. Akasha's included a selection of carefully considered components organic vegetable beds, fragrant herb gardens, and flowering areas for pollinator insects, constructed from locally-sourced eco-friendly materials. Raised garden beds from long-lasting cedar wood, beautiful and sustainable permeable pavers with permeable pavers covering pathways which combine beauty function while allowing drainage solution. Another huge challenge we had was that this property was on a slope. To give the landscape some beauty and to plant more, our team built terrace-type planting beds. We also installed a drip irrigation system for sufficient irrigation, in line with the clients sustainability objectives. The results were simply amazing. Now, the Epicurious Gardens are full of plant life and color, beckoning the family and pollinators, too, to come and experience the bounty of growing and sharing sweet food. They absolutely loved their new outdoor oasis which now provides a place to grow fresh vegetables and relax in nature.
